The Mystery Room is a first-floor waterfront room in the Main House at Log Canoe Inn. Its windows face St. Michaels Harbor, giving guests a clear view of the marina, passing boats, and the inn’s waterfront grounds.

Inside, the room offers queen sized bed with fresh linens and plush pillows. The private en suite bathroom includes a walk-in shower, fresh towels, plush robes, a hair dryer, makeup-removing cloths, and complimentary toiletries.

Its first-floor location is especially convenient for guests who prefer to avoid stairs while remaining close to St. Michaels Harbor.

The History of the Log Canoe Mystery

The room is named for Mystery, a Chesapeake Bay log canoe built in Oxford, Maryland, in 1932 by Henry Sinclair.

Still racing under sail number 8, Mystery remains part of the Eastern Shore’s log canoe racing tradition. The room’s name reflects both the inn’s waterfront setting and its connection to Chesapeake Bay sailing history.
